The Boundary Is the Justice

You know that feeling. The one that rises hot in your chest when someone treats you unfairly. When a friend dismisses your feelings. When a colleague takes credit. When a partner lets you down. That voice that whispers: they need to pay. They need to understand what they did.

Revenge looks like justice. It wears the same clothes — righting a wrong, restoring balance. But here's the difference: revenge orbits the other person's debt, while a boundary orbits your own worth.

The scales belong to Libra, ruled by Venus — the planet of value, love, and self-worth. Libra doesn't seek punishment; it seeks equilibrium. Not to make someone else feel small, but to make sure you feel whole.

Think about it. When you reach for revenge — that cutting reply, the cold shoulder, the public callout — you're still tethered to them. Your energy is still wrapped up in what they did, who they are, whether they've learned their lesson. You're waiting. Watching. Still not free.

A boundary cuts the tether. It says: "This is what I accept. This is what I won't. Not because you're bad. Because I'm valuable."

Boundaries aren't punishment. They're protection. They don't demand repentance. They simply state what's true: I deserve respect. If you can't offer it, I won't be here.

This morning, if you're nursing a wound or replaying an injustice, ask yourself: am I seeking to punish them, or to protect my peace?

The bravest people aren't the ones who get even. They're the ones who get clear. Who say "I'm worth more than this" and mean it enough to walk away.

That's not weakness. It's the highest form of Justice — firm, balanced, and deeply, unshakably rooted in your own worth.
